Our story
The Gabonese Petroleum Products Storage Company (SGEPP) was created on May 19, 1967 under the name "SGE" (Gabonese Storage Company) by the Union of marketers Total, Elf, Shell, Mobil and the Gabonese State.
SGEPP's main activity is the storage of liquid hydrocarbons and butane gas intended for the national market for petroleum product distribution companies located in the Gabonese Republic.
The company currently operates three main depots and one relay depot. The municipality of Owendo has two depots: one for LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) and one for HCL (liquid hydrocarbons), while the municipality of Moanda has one main hydrocarbon depot and one relay depot. The Owendo depots are supplied by ship, while the Moanda depots are supplied by rail from the Owendo depot.
